Now usually I am quick to distinguish which photos are share-worthy and which ones are destined to collect virtual dust on my hard drive, but almost every photo from Walbert and Maria’s engagement shoot is too stinkin’ cute. Their love radiates into each frame making this one tough edit! I’m melting over here into one big happy Hill puddle for these guys. Congratulations, lovebirds!!!

So much love for my beautiful niece Alba, sister Allison and brother-in-law Alberto. Thankful for the opportunity to have traveled to the Dominican Republic to shoot these precious portraits back in March.

Happy Valentine’s Day from us!

Skipping rocks by the river with my roommate, Kurt Lutz. Good ol’ Pennsylvania kids stuck in zee city.

Every once in awhile I take (“make”) a photo without a person in it.
Also retouching to this extent is rare in my work.

But as my boy Ernest puts it:
“Style is that which is rough around the edges because it hasn’t been done before.” -Hemingway

This blog is my vessel where experiments in personal photographic style and vision live. Rough. Around the edges.

A classic and timeless look. Simply beautiful.

I’m looking for a new best friend because mine is moving to Spain for an insane six weeks. Now accepting applications, some serious kicks to fill. Ya feel me?

But seriously though, you’re irreplaceable, miss. Most of what I do would not be possible without all the love, LAUGHTER, support. Well overdue ode to Amy on the day of departure. So romantic. Love you, girl.

Thank you.
